Builder offers $35,000 in buyer incentives!

We've all heard that its a buyer's market. Well one builder is offering an incredible incentive to convince you that now is the time to buy. D. R. Horton is offering $35,000 to buyers that purchase in any of their communities and close by the end of September. Unfortunately, you can't receive this as cash. (I wish!) You can, however, use it to reduce the purchase price, pay closing costs, upgrade the home, or buy down the interest rate. As a side note, buying down the interest rate is the way to go. This is far more effective than reducing the purchase price. You reduce your monthly payment and that allows you to buy more house than the $35,000 would get you if it were applied to the purchase price. D.R.
